Around the world, 884 million people do not have access to safe drinking water and 2.5 billion are without adequate sanitation facilities. Every day, nearly 6,000 people who share our planet die from water-related illnesses, and the vast majority are children.
Our unique model encompasses using only appropriate technologies, continually monitoring our work, establishing partnerships to engage local entities, requiring the community and partners to financially invest in solutions, and leveraging the private sector to play a catalytic role in solving development challenges.
The New England Water For People Committee supports Water For People's mission through community outreach, advocacy, and fundraising. Please join this group to get updates on other New England events and activities.
